NYCSUL-503 ultrasonic level meter is a digital level meter controlled by microprocessor. In the measurement of ultrasonic pulse from the sensor (transducer), the sound wave reflected by the surface of the liquid is received by the same sensor, through the piezoelectric crystal converted into electrical signals, and the time between the transmission and reception of the sound wave to calculate the distance from the sensor to the surface of the liquid to be measured. Due to the use of non-contact measurement, the measured medium is almost unlimited, can be widely used in a variety of liquid and solid material height measurement.

Ultrasonic Level Transmitter Operating Principle
The ultrasonic level meter is installed at the top of the container. Under the control of the electronic unit, the probe transmits a beam of ultrasonic pulse to the object under the control of the electronic unit. The acoustic wave is reflected by the surface of the object. Some of the reflected echoes are received by the probe and converted into electrical signals. According to the time difference between retransmission and re-receiving of ultrasonic wave and the known speed of sound, the change of object level is determined. The microwave signal is processed by electronic device, and finally transformed into electrical signal related to object level.
